OverviewFour Greenhill Corner houses are exclusively reserved for discerning students attending Bucks New University.
After spending their first year in Halls of Residence, many students are looking for the independence of a house share with their new found friends. And Greenhill Corner houses tick all the boxes:
We always aim to beat the weekly rent for comparable rooms in Hughenden Halls – and our rents include all bills. Room Details |

The main kitchen appliances – sink, oven, hob, fridge and freezer - are doubled up to avoid congestion at busy times; and there is plenty of cupboard storage. A washing machine is also provided, as are microwaves, kettles, toasters, and cleaning equipment. All you need to bring are your plates, cutlery and cooking utensils.
An outside private seating area is located behind each house where individual lockable, weatherproof bike sheds are available free of charge. A limited number of car parking spaces are available at the front of each house. |
What's the deal?
Our rents are amongst the most competitive around and include all bills – gas, electricity, water, TV licence and internet - and unlike BNU halls of residence, we don’t charge for using the washing machine! Note that registered full-time students are exempt from Council Tax bills.
We would also be happy to discuss a deal on preferential terms if a group of 5 or more students book at the same time, or if you wish to stay with us for a second year.
We know cash flow can be difficult at times, so we will discuss the best rent plan for you. Most students prefer rent payment dates that match student finance payment dates.
Besides your rent the only other payment is a tenancy deposit of £500 which is returned to you at the end of your stay (subject to you leaving the house in good order).
As is usual for agreements with students, we ask that your parent, guardian or other responsible adult acts as a guarantor.

What’s the next steps
After viewing our available rooms, we will email to confirm in writing all the details of the offer that we will have discussed with you. This includes sending you a copy of the tenancy agreement that you and your guarantor will eventually be asked to sign.
We will then give you time to take advice or ask us further questions. If you wish to go ahead with renting, we ask for a commitment fee and some further details before starting to prepare you agreement. Once signed, this fee automatically transfers to become your refundable tenancy deposit.
